All About the Ratio
Most pet foods contain significantly high levels of Omega 6 fatty acids from cheap ingredients like corn, canola and olive oils without proper Omega 3 supplementation (from 4:1 to as high as 20:1). Left unchecked, high Omega 6 levels can promote inflammation and suppress the immune system. VéRUS averages a 1:1 Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acids ratio.

NO BYPRODUCTS
Byproducts - such as heads, feet, lungs and bones - are poorly digested, increasing the demands on pets' kidneys (kidney failure is the second largest killer of older dogs).
NO FILLERS
Processed grains - such as brewers rice, ground rice and wheat flour - are empty calories that contribute to excess weight gain and diabetes. We only use nutrient-rich whole brown rice and oats in our formulas utilizing grain.
